Our Customer Assistance Center’s primary role is to provide excellent customer service to our ratepayers and taxpayers.  From making sure you have all your utilities, Electric and Water, turned on when moving into a new residence, to assisting you in signing up for Cable TV, Internet, Phone and Trash services. Our Customer Assistance representatives are here to assist you with all the services provided by the City and Municipal Services.
 
We are located at 3200 Biddle, 1st Floor. We feature a drive-thru window and a drop box for the convenience of our customers. Our office is open to serve you Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.  The Customer Assistance Center is closed on weekends and holidays.  Emergency calls are taken 24/7. Please note we accept cash, check or credit card payments in person at our Customer Assistance Center. Credit Card payments can also be processed by phone or via online payment at our eServices page. You may also enroll in our Auto Pay program
 

Online Payments

Pay your Wyandotte Municipal Services Bill online. Visa, Mastercard and Discover Cards are accepted. Payments received will be posted on the same date your payment is made.

 

Please have the copy of your Municipal Services Bill available for reference when you pay - you will be required to enter the PIN as shown below. If you'd like to personalize your PIN or need any assistance, please call (734) 324-7190.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION FOR NEW RESIDENTIAL UTITLITY SERVICES
If you had service in Wyandotte previously all accounts must have a zero balance!

Renting:

  • New Signed Lease
    • Lease much have start/end date
    • Lease must state what utilities are responsible to pay
    • If tenant is responsible for water – must have signed water affidavit
  • Driver’s License / State Identification Card
  • Social Security Card
  • $75 electrical deposit (if tenant is responsible to pay for electric)
  • Drill letter signed by landlord
    • Drill letter is only needed if the tenant is not happy with where the current cable/internet/phone lines are in the property

Purchased Home / Land Contract:

  • Deed/ Land Contract
  • Certificate of Approval/Occupancy
  • Driver’s License / State Identification Card
  • Social Security Number
  • $75 electrical deposit

Cable/Internet/Phone Only Accounts

  • New signed Lease
    • Lease must state that the landlord will be responsible for all utilities
  • Drill Letter (only if new lines need to be ran in the property)
  • Driver’s License / State Identification Card
  • Social Security Number

Engineering Permits

Engineering Permits are also issued at the Customer Assistance Center.  It will no longer be necessary to go to the Engineering Department to pull permits; streamlining the process. Permit applications can be printed and filled out prior to coming to our assistance center. Print applications here.


Fort Street Sign

Applications for posting community notices on the Fort Street Sign will also be handled by the Customer Assistance Center.  The Fort Street Sign Policy can be printed here.  The application can also be printed and then brought to our assistance center for processing.


DVD Sales of Community Programming Events

You can now purchase these items for $20.00 per item, upon request, at the Customer Assistance Center, 3200 Biddle Avenue, 1st Floor, Wyandotte, MI  48192  734.324.7190.
