Wyandotte New Customer Information

Wyandotte is unique because we offer our own Electric, Water, Cable, Cable Internet, and soon to be Phone Service. For new customers that need service in Wyandotte, some requirements apply:

  • Come to the office to sign utility contract (click to view sample)
  • A picture ID
  • $75 Electric deposit
  • New property owners must supply the Engineering Department's Certificate of Approval and either the Deed (i.e. Quit Claim or Warrant), the Title Policy, or a Court Order.
  • New renting tenants that are required to have Water service in their names must supply a lease stating authorization to change the name.
  • New businesses leasing the property must supply the Engineering Department's Certificate of Occupancy. Businesses purchasing the property must also supply the Certificate of Occupancy in addition to either a Deed (i.e. Quit Claim or Warranty), the Title Policy, or a Court Order. An Electric deposit is also required and is based on the size and type of business.
  • Cable and Cable Internet are also offered. Installation fees and charges are discussed at the set-up and will appear on the first utility bill.
